Behind the scenes of Rubicon

We shot on the train with a student permit which only allowed for a very small crew of three in order to not disturb the other passengers, and also the use of minimal gear.

We chose the Sony a7s for its great low light capabilities and the 24-70 zoom instead of going with primes since we needed the OIS to get stable footage without the need for a big rig.

We also used a Rode VideoMic Pro to capture the two brief lines of dialog at the end of the short film.
