We shot this on a rented Panasonic Varicam 35 with a rented set of Ultra Primes, courtesy of Bert Tan from Bert Lighting House. Really loved the imaging on the camera, I would highly recommend it for narrative film making! The Prores 444 codec held up really well during grading too, which we did on Blackmagic's Da Vinci Resolve at Gravitate (Post House). Have not explored Da Vinci Resolve much, but I was very happy with the power and control it granted us with. Sound design was done by my good friends at CERB3RUS.
Shooting style was mostly handheld due to the nature of the story. On set audio was recorded with an NTG3 and it was our soundman's first time using it. He was thoroughly impressed with the quality he was getting.
Everything was all shot on in one location (my house!). I knew there was going to be lot of shouting so I had mailed letters to my nearby neighbours so they wouldn't be alarmed. One of them even informed the neighourhood police of my filming on my behalf so they know there will be some commotion going on!
Behind The Scenes was shot on a Panasonic GH4 and GH3, my favourite small cameras to use. Lenses used are a Panasonic 12-35mm 2.8 and a Nikon 50mm 1.4 AIS with Mitakon Lens Turbo.
