Vexations was shot with a Canon 5D Mark iii with the Magic Lantern software add-on to shoot raw video. We used a Rokinon 35mm cine lens for 95% of the shots.
For sound, we used a Rode VideoMic on-camera. This was usually used as a "scratch" track that was replaced by audio we recorded with the Rode NTG3B shotgun mic going into a Tascam DR-60D. We also used a Rode SmartLav+ going into an iPhone 4S to get some incidental and breathing sounds.
Lighting was done with one rented Arri Fresnel, a Lite Panels micro LED, and a Lowel Creator Kit.
